Thank you to those of you praying for the Berlin English Camp this August 21 - 31. We had our second team meeting last night, and have four definite participants, provided the Lord provides the needed financial support. We also have a couple that sounds quite interested, a family of five that wants to go but is unsure about raising support for five people at $2000/person.
Please pray that the Lord will continue to form our team, both by making his calling and fiancial provision clear to those "on the fence" and for those who've committed to going. We need your prayers to grow in our love for each other as we prepare to serve in Berlin. Thanks!

This summer I'll be leading a small team of people to help run an English Camp with elementary age children in Berlin, Germany. We'll be working with MTW Team Berlin in Pankow, one of the districts in the former eastern part of Berlin. See the ministry map or Pankow's website (in German).
Please pray for me to keep my focus on how God is building his kingdom, and how we can play a small part by using our native English to help German kids improve their conversational English skills. Simply going to Pankow and loving those children by teaching them well and helping them practice talking with native English speakers may open up relationships that the missionaries and the German families they work with can follow up on.
Also, please pray that people who have expressed interest in participating in this English camp will commit to joining our team. We have five or six people now, and I've heard of at least four more who've expressed interest.
Missions--the expansion of Jesus kingdom, to the Father's glory, by the power of the Holy Spirit--is ultimately done by God, and yet He delights to work through our deeds and prayers; in fact, He commands us to participate in and work toward bringing fame, recognition, honor, glory, dominion and power to Jesus wherever we are.
So please support me with your prayers. Ask the Lord to unify our Pankow English camp team and to help us prepare well to use our English abilities to love and serve the children and families in Pankow, Berlin. Consider joining us if you are able.
Some of you may remember that on June 16, 2006 a group of friend, my sister, and I made tile mosaic fish for the Chattanooga Riverwalk. Well, here are the pictures of our fish in their places on columns.

My sister made this River Catfish.

Check out Tuggy's eel with the evil red eye! I'm not sure if the one to the eel's left was made by friends of mine or not.

Is this big fish Rachel's craftsmanship? If you know, please drop me a comment so I can correctly identify it as such.

Here's my Short Nosed Common Dolphin, which the folks in charge graciously let me make, even though its a mammal.
I'll have to make another trip out there to find Paul's whale--I hadn't looked up the pictures of what we made when I found these out there.
So next time you're in Chattanooga, keep your eyes peeled for our mosaic fish.
Yesterday, as a result of a coworker asking me a spelling question, I stumbled across the following anagram:
"cognition" is the anagram of "incognito"
That fascinated me, because the two words are about opposite in meaning. I began wondering if there are other English anagrams that have opposite meanings. If you know of one, do share.
Otherwise, what's one of your favorite anagrams?
