I got a letter earlier this week informing me that the Board of Engineering Examiners in Nashville had accepted my application to take the Professional Engineering exam on April 11, 2008. So now I'm faced with 61 days until the exam, and a lot of studying to do.
Friends, please remind me to diligently study. Pray for me to use the time I have well--I want to pass the exam, so I've gotta crack the books. Thanks!
Yesterday I spent about three hours researching presidential candidates for our 2008 elections, and I find myself faced with a dilemma facing many voters: do I vote for the person I believe is most qualified to carry out the constitutional requirements of the office of president, or do I vote for the most electable person who will do the least harm to our nation and national interests? One of the minor candidates sounds like exactly what I would look for in a president, but stands almost no chance of receiving the nomination of either of the two major parties.
If you are faced with a similar situation, how do you resolve it? What principles guide your thinking?
