Its been over a month since I wrote, and I'm still here, alive and kickin'.
The bird's eye summary: (1.) Christmas in Chattanooga with my sister home from teaching in Iowa, (2.) road trip to the Philly/NJ/Delaware area over New Years in which we took our grandparents to their new house, by way of the wedding of two friends in South Carolina, and celebrated Christmas with mom's side of our family, (3.) road trip to St. Louis to finish Christmas celebrations with my brother and sister-in-law on Epiphany, and (4.) return to work, church responsibilities, hanging out with friends, and generally getting back into the swing of things.
So, that's the view from the sky. But the seagulls are laughing at me. As they say in China, "Seagulls laugh at busy people."
