Hey folks, Chattanooga now has a bunch of traffic cameras to help you avoid sitting in jams on the road, and if you out-a-town readers miss the streets of the Scenic City, you can see them below. The cameras send a new still image to the internet every 60 seconds.
Also, if you're local you can see full motion video from the traffic cameras in WDEF's (Channel 12) traffic reports--and they're the only station providing that right now.

I receive a daily traffic and communications news email at work, and occasionally I'll find a funny story worth sharing. I just hope my brother and sister-in-law and my friends who live in St. Louis county aren't the folks who thought the signs are for the deer. The story, "Who Reads the Deer Crossing Signs? The Deer?" is from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
On a totally 'other' note, it was odd to me to have temperatures hitting the low 70s (22 C) on Saint Andrew's Day this past November 30th. I guess I already knew that Chattanooga weather is a far cry from that of Scotland--the land of which Andrew is the patron saint. As an elder at my church in Glasgow reminded us during my semester at Glasgow Uni, "The thing that made all the difference in the world for Andrew was that he met Jesus and was changed by him."
