so the truth comes out... my blog is a pretty low priority for me right now. In fact, two links worth visiting (both of which take you away from my blog) are the Trinity Hymnal Psalm Settings database (http://kepler.covenant.edu/~swanson/psalm/index.html) and the campaign website of a friend of mine, Martin Scott, who is running for a seat in the Georgia State House: http://www.votemartinscott.com.
In addition to volunteering for his campaign, I'm still involved in music at church--playing organ Sunday mornings, and guitar for a few kids classes Wednesday evenings. With what time is left I'm trying to keep in touch with friends, keep up with work, read, run, and have an occasional beer.
Perhaps one beneficial aspect of keeping a full schedule is that Sunday seems all the more restful and set apart--how thankful I am that our Lord gives us (even commands us!) to keep a whole day for worshipping Him, resting, and enjoying His many blessings. "O day of rest and gladness!" He makes wine, which makes glad the heart of man; of late our family has added wine to our weekly Lord's day feast.
