If you're especially observant, you might have noticed that after the time at the bottom of my blog entries it doesn't say AM and PM, but FM and EM. You'll have also noted that my calendar is is Swedish rather than English (i.e. 'Januari' rather than 'January'). FM and EM are the Swedish for AM and PM, respectively.
Please pray for my brother Erik and his wife, Joy. Joy called us Sunday morning saying that Erik had thrown up blood, and she took him to the ER, where the doctors thought it was a virus that infected a blood vessel. He's home now, but still not feeling very good.
Also, my local church session needs prayer. There are a couple issues they need to deal with which will require much wisdom and grace. Thanks.

i've gotta help load the van, and then we're driving down to grandma's for a late breakfast before hitting the road back down to georgia. our transmission has been having shuddering problems, and we took it to a shop where they changed something in the transmission computer to give it a temporary $60 fix, but please pray that we make it safely back to georgia. its a new year, but some things don't change.
