I hate plasma swords...

Yeah, I just can't get the sword lunge timed properly. Jared continually owns me with that weapon. I need to figure it out...

We had a pretty rowdy Halo 2 tournament tonight. I wasn't expecting to have quite so many people, but it ended up being 12 players for quite awhile. We had some excellent 3 team slayer matches and some very very heated all sword/all rocket launcher rounds. I'm still no match for Jared or Randy, but I'm getting back into my old form again. Next time we'll try to do it earlier so you can make it Josiah. We missed you bud...

Though to be perfectly honest I don't see how I'll be able to do anything of the sort for at least a week now. My Spanish class is spiraling out of control... A presentation, an in-class composition, a quiz/work book due, and a test, and all in the same week. Not to mention research for my SIP and end of term papers. I'll go ahead and be a zombie for a little while.

I've decided that I really like U2's new song, Vertigo. Its really catchy and for some reason has gotten me to listen to more U2 songs of late. Not exactly sure why. The Edge cracks me up in the Ipod music video.

If someone could come up with a way to prevent blog spam I would love them forever... But then again, if dreams came true I'd be in a very different place right now.

Its that time of year again...

Every year is the same. Research papers always manage to loom their ugly heads at about the same times each year. Case in point being the 7-10 page SOB due for Contemporary Lit next week. I haven't started my research yet. I'll probably knock this one out Sat/Sun (with a flurry of activity late Monday) and then start prepping for my Austen paper which Wildeman will probably assign at some point next week.

Its been an eventful few days...

Pretty much all of Catacombs managed to get themselves turned in for contract breakage. So far no one is going to be suspended, but we did have one guy leave the hall. His final comments can be seen on Social Coma. They were also posted on Covenant's e-board but were removed a few hours later with Jason Wood (aka Darth Vader) citing the fact that it was written by someone who was not a Covenant student. Not sure how to take that...

Its weird, the days seem to be blending together in a very surreal sort of way. Each day is simply highlighted by my alarm, my drive up/down the mountain, and work. I'm finding myself gauging my daily progress by smoke breaks and visits to Katie. All this and I haven't even started my SIP... Next semester is going to be an adventure.
