Heather and I finally have our bed. For the past couple of weeks we have been sleeping on a giant queen-sized air mattress. The air mattress isn't really uncomfortable, it's just that it isn't the kind of thing that invites permanence as an apartment fixture. A few weeks ago Heather ordered a kingsdown mattress from her employer. Braden helped us transport the mattress from the top of the mountain to our appartment in the valley. Now it's a real pretty bed that feels like a real bed! Actually, it feels like sleeping on feathers wrapped in silk because the bedsheets we have are 400 thread count Egyptian cotton and the mattress is oober comfortable (that's über for those of you not in the know).
