never say never

Thirty-five weeks into my second pregnancy I am experiencing a pregnancy symptom I have hithertofore never experienced: swollen feet.

I'm more annoyed about this than the stretch marks. My last hold-out. I am now one big puffy gigantic whale. It's a good thing that Ellis has recently learned how to speak whale from a certain little blue fish named Dory.

BP is still good? Just want to make sure you're not hypertensive. Swelling can indicate that condition.

Thank goodness for flip-flops at least! Hang in there!

Ditto the BP thing. Did the swelling start suddenly? If so, you should probably give your OB a quick call.

Better call your OB right away. Swollen feet in last stage of pregnancy could be symptom of toxemia, like what my sister had.

Oh, I am so sorry. My feet were so swollen with my first. So swollen that a woman in Wal-Mart felt like she needed to point it out to me. Maybe she thought I couldn't see them anymore over my huge belly.

Feet up and hydrate thyself, I say.

my feet were swollen with both. sucks.

and my kid loves that movie and I'm so glad she's never taken it into her head to speak whale. Instead, I get to hear about let's name the zones the zones the zones let's name the zones of the open seeeeaaaaa!

Doesn't that make Ellis trilingual -- excellent! Way to raise expectations, now I've got to start drilling Li-Li with flash cards in whale. :) Sending wishes for your feet to subside, gently.
