Our old apartment in New Orleans. Pictures.

Jeannette's Old Building

My friend in Baton Rouge went down to New Orleans last weekend. She took a bunch of pictures of our old apartment. As I thought, our second story apartment was safe from flooding, though not broken windows. It also looks like no one moved in after us. And my rosemary is still growing in the window box.

wow jeannette! that's so crazy! it's interesting how a couple of plants peaking up through the wreckage gives a sense of hope.

Those pictures are kind of hard for *me* to look at; can't imagine how you felt seeing your old home.

It looked so warm and alive when you lived there with your garden and homey decorating style...sorry you have to see it in such a sad state!
