National 'Nette Day '08
Well, folks, I've made it three decades. Today is the big day. The day I turn 30. Youth, or whatever was left of it, is officially over. Now I'm just Living Life--kinda makes me wonder what I thought I was doing when I turned 20, but I wasn't blogging back then, so I can't remember.
It's sunny today. Yay! A bit chilly, though, but that's okay. The forsythia are brilliant. Ellis slept all night. And there's fun things to do.
So celebrate with me! Everyone drink root beer floats!

Happy Happy Birthday, Jeannette! I was looking for an ecard last night to send you but just couldn't find a good one. Maybe I wasn't slap happy enough or something. Well, I can't believe you're 30! I'm joining you this year. It really is hard to believe that 20 was 10 years ago and that Hugs Wars with Jane & Esther and booby trapping mount Cono (and sending Sam up it) was even further back than that. I have a lot of great memories and many of them include you! Happy Birthday, Friend!

This is totally why I'm blogging now with kids. . . Easier than baby books or scrapbooking. Hubby and I looked through some archives just this morning and laughed and amazed at how much the boys have grown.

A bit scary how often I've turned to the blog for really important questions, like ... how many mappings have we had, is it time for vaccinations?
