8 random things

Cloudscome tagged me for the 8 random things meme. So here we go.

1. i love watermelon. Seriously die for it.

2. I'm a coffee snob. I'd rather not drink it if it's not really good.

3. I have a mole on the back of my left hand. When I was little that's how I remembered which was my Left Hand.

4. I hate getting my haircut. But I hate blowdrying my hair. So i have a short cut that looks really awful for about a month before i get it cut, because I wait too long.

5. I'm actually really terrible at reading. I skim through books. Unless it's a novel, because you sort of have to pay attention, but even then I read too fast and miss stuff. I think the last novel I finished was in April. (except for Harry Potter) I don't really feel a drive to read.

6. I have a love/hate relationship with the classical music station. I usually think the programming is terrible. But I sometimes listen to it, because it's less likely to give me a headache than a steady beat.

7. I am at a stage in my life where I'm reluctant to make new friends.

8. I hate picking people to pass memes onto, so if you want to be chosen by the claw, drop me a comment. :-)

I find #7 very interesting and I'm in the same space, but not sure why. I also have a bad short haircut because it needs cut and I hate styling it.

Anyway, I was wondering about #7. Is it because you already have many friends or because there's a lot of effort involved in making new ones (and I agree that this last one is hard for me too -- I do want to make friends, but it's hard to dedicate the time needed to do it). That's why online friendships are easier ;)

I miss stuff too because I read too fast - I thought you said that the mole was how you remember which is your left hand and found it so funny and then I read it again and it said - when you were little - still funny, though. Hi, I'm Kellan - nice to meet you. See ya.

1. I am allergic to Watermelon! But I used to eat it ALL the time-loved it.
3. ME TOO!!! I have a mole on my left pinkie, I still look for it :) to tell me left! 4. I hate getting my haircut to, but I did it on Friday. Why do you have to have a conversation everytime!? 5. I'm terrible at reading, cause i'd rather watch tv. 6. I feel the same way, although it is far WORSE where I live now. 7. I totally know what you mean. I was there, completely. I'm starting to see the light at the end of that tunnel though.

What an interesting list! I hate fussing with my hair too. I keep it short and right now I really need a cut but I keep putting if off cause I just don't want to take the time. I love to read though. Thanks for playing!
