One Morning in Maine

A very exhausted family drove to Maine on Friday. It was us!! We're on vacation!!!

I've never been to Maine.

So I have a newsflash for everyone. We're not coming back. (just kidding) Seriously, though, this is like the most incredible place EV-AR!!

I didn't take the above picture, but I did climb on that rock. With my Curly-Headed Friends. They were are best buds in New Orleans. We moved the same day. They moved to Maine; we moved to Philly. We're here for a few more days, and it is GLORIOUS!!!!!

My parents and I used to vacation in NH and ME and I also think it is one of the most incredible places ever! I love it there so much and someday I want to vacation there again- regularly! Definitely my favorite of all vacation spots (that I've been so far...).

I love Maine too. Remind me to talk NO with you sometime. My oldest son goes to Tulane.

HA! I told everyone here in ATL that I was waiting for the phone call from you saying "We're not coming back!" Maine in August has that effect on you! Have you seen Puffins yet?

Where do they live in Maine? There is a great OPC church in Portland. I visited there last summer. The minister is great!

Maine! That's awesome! I was there only once, and just for a day and a half. We did drive all the way to Acadia Ntl Park, but it was almost heartbreaking just to drive around a bit and then drive all the way to Boston to visit some friends... I really want to go back sometime. I'd love to see more photos :)

Yay for curly heads!!!

My grandparents used to live in NH, and I used to visit them often as a kid. I think New England is one of the most beautiful places on earth! I hope you're having some restful family time.

Hope you can get some fresh seafood while you're up there!
