new frig
Well, we found a new frig for $100 on Craigslist, and we got there fast enough to get it. The first time C'list has ever worked out for me. And we couldn't have needed it more. A friend helped Chris move it in and the old one out. Now we just have to figure out how to dispose of the old one. And the kitchen is in ENTIRE UPHEAVAL.
I'm so tired I could scream. Ellis was so tired that he was screaming, on the bus; a fine moment in toddler history.
But I'm REALLY thankful that we were able to find a new frig and didn't blow the money that is set aside for our vacation for it. It's actually a little nicer and bigger than our old one. Really, really glad.

So sorry the fridge died! I feel like we sold you a lemon!! Ours is making sounds like it will die any day now, but it's been doing that for a year. We'll see. Glad you found one, and for a great price!

I'm so glad that the fridge thing worked out for you! I've never used Craig's List, but we have used Freecycle (http://www.freecycle.org) to get a desk for me, and we got rid of our futon that way, too. You can make posts for things you want to give away or things you need, and it can surprise you when someone in your area is actually looking to get rid of the very thing you want (or vice versa). Something to consider for next time, anyway. And stuff is free. =)

Sorry to hear. $%#& happens :) Didn't you notice when you've tried to save some money for something else but something happend that made you to pay for it instead of growing money in the bank? I mean almost every time !
Better knock the wood for better luck!
