The thinker and the blogger
Even though I really haven't felt like a thinker for a long time--say about the time I conceived a child and the brain cells abandoned ship--I nevertheless got nominated for the thinking blogger award by Love and Blunder, a blog I've recently started to enjoy. Ta-da!! Echoing Devona's sentiments, I think she's my kind of person, too, and I'm flattered that she thinks I'm cool, because I think she's cool. Check one: yes or no. Am I cool? (Seriously, we never grow out of it. We think we've gotten past 13, but deep down inside, it's all 13 all the way. *grin*)
So without further ado, I present my 5 nominees:
* Funke at How to Disappear Completely--blogging music, hipsters, and cult(ch)ure!
* katiek at new eyes. I owe an enormous debt to katie for awakening the creative spirit in me. The way that mama can think with color never ceases to astound me.
* wondergirl at wondergirl and the sift. The title says it all. She is wondergirl, and will bring you to your knees with her creative writing chops.
*linnea at a girl with a sword. My cool cousin currently at linguistics camp pondering unaccusativity. How could she not qualify?
*keri at "the dream you're living is your creation". She doesn't get to post much, but when she does it always make me think. And she's one of my first Deaf friends. ;-)

I just wanna say that ever since I was an overawed freshman in your CHAM listening sessions, you have been an inspiration to me. :)
And I totally second the Girl with a Sword nomination. I always feel smarter after reading Linnea's blog.

I, too, am flattered by your nomination! Honestly, I wish I carried around a PDA that would let me blog because I'm always blogging in my head! I just don't get around to sitting down and actually type it out. So, thank you, dear friend for thinking of me! Hugs! =D
