Projects, a retrospective

I never did post a pic of Ellis's backpack. Well, here it is in all it's glory. My favorite part is the sippy cup holder.

Yesterday I made a sling! I finally made the leap. something I've been dying to do, but never got my brains around. I'm so thrilled with it. It was so darn easy to make that I feel downright sheepish. And my only regret is why in the world didn't I do this sooner?! Anyway, it's still a little big. But the good part is that Ellis likes it. He's still my snuggle bug.

(I was trying to get him to sign I love you, because it's so darn cute!)

That's an adorable sling!!!

Have you tried carrying Ellis around in the sling yet? Is it easy on your back? We're still trying to figure out the baby carrying thing. I get achy shoulders sometime (but I never get lower back pain), and I'm trying to figure out what kind of carrier would put the least strain on my shoulders.

When my youngest was a baby in a sling, the older boys LOVED to have their turn in the sling and snuggle with mom. One of them was still light enough to carry around, but the older two would just sit on my lap and snuggle while in the sling. *Grin*
