Passed!
Anyway, after being grueled for my terrible comma usage and Latin translations, my committee passed my thesis.
I have revisions, but I expected that. I met with someone from the Grad School this morning to make sure it's all formatted properly.
It's been partly rainy today, but sunny enough to take Ellis for a nice walk. 75 degrees in Louisiana is such a different story than its Pennsylvania counterpart. For one, it's more humid, which feels great now (but not in August).
This evening we went out with my advisor and a couple other friends. I ate a shrimp poboy with one hand and corralled E with my other.
I'm really tired.

Praise God on the thesis front! (And, can I admit, I'm drooling reading about the shrimp poboy. . .)

Congrats again! Even though you're in my house and I told you that already, I wanted to make a post, because I'm so excited for you. You're joining the MM club after a tough battle! =)

They picked around about commas!!!! How hard up can they get? I sincerely doubt that it was terrible. Comma usage varies so much from one instructor to the next that it is impossible for the rest of us. I think it just means, "Well, we're here to critique and that is about as uch as we can critique" other than your Latin translations. hmmm A teacher at school loaned me 'The song of Roland' in Latin and French with corresponding pages side by side. I had to look really hard to keep remembering which page was French and which was Latin. Wheelock does Not prepare you for this.I just plain couldn't read it. He couldn't either, really and he knows some French! He was just figuring as he went with an English translatuion nearby.
Comma usage, bah!
