Adventures in Self-feeding and Couscous

This week I gave him couscous mixed with sweet potatoes to help it stick together. I think he's still figuring it out. But he sure had a lot of fun playint with it.

I didn't intend to give him the bowl, but he wanted the spoon so bad that I thought, 'hey, let him have a go at it.'

He ditched the spoon pretty early on.

My favorite part was when he started playing peekaboo with the bowl.

Yea, uh, I think we'll stick to Cheerios for awhile.

Ellis looks oh so happy with his mess and I bet you had even more fun cleaning it up. Addie likes to get her food everywhere but with Satine and Kowe, not a crumb goes uneaten! :)

Hahahaha! My little nephew and I discovered that peekaboo and wheatabix don't mix--catastrophe occured as I brought a spoon with a big, warm sticky bite to his mouth just as he brought up both hands to cover his face. Icky, sticky, and hilarious.
