I blame the Yankee on my Dad and I figure that the upper Midwestern came from living in Utah.

I'm amused by the fact that I have zero Midwestern influence. The Dixie portion is no surprise, since I grew up in NC, but where all that Yankee came from is a complete mystery!

I ended up with only 5% dixie, a travesty which I blame entirely on four years of the speech corrupting environment surrounding Covenant. Otherwise I am 75% normal and 15% Upper Midwestern (quirks from Colorado, I guess) and 10% Yankee.
