Scratch and sniff?
*I always feel like I should get a sticker when I successively parallel park. Today, I not only did the Perfect 3 Point Parallel Park, but I did it on the left hand side! In my car with no power steering!!! I ought to get something for that!
It's taken me a long time to warm up to this parallel parking thing (especially since I don't have power steering). But you can only live in the city for so long before you have to succumb and figure out how to do it.
*Did I mention that our Christmas tree is perfect!
*I'm always amazed at how much great stuff you can find at the craft store! Stuff I would never think of looking for there. Like Hershey kisses with red and green wrappers, which my Walmart did NOT have!
*I'm turning into an awkward shape. I can't wear most of my pants except for ones that make me look like a gangsta. Are there pre-maternity clothes out there? I'm mean...ones that are for between now and when you can really fill them out?

J, I have bad news for you. Until your pooch is big enough to fill maternity pants, you're going to have wardrobe woes. My suggestion, just buy the next size up in regular clothes for these inbetween months. Try to get shirts that are longer to give you extra growing room. Put a rubberband through the buttonhole of your jeans and attach it to the button to give you an extra inch or two. That tides me over for a while.
Sorry. This part stinks, you'll see. But don't worry, it won't be long till you're in lots of fun preggy clothes!

The problem is that *your* pants fit you best in the butt and legs and everywhere but the waist - so if you can just make the waist work with the rubberband trick, you will feel SO much better wearing your own pants for as long as you can.

I agree with the rubberband trick. And then move up to maternity that is too big, roll the waist, etc. It all moves so fast, a few weeks after you are rolling, you'll be able to hold it all up fine!
