Jeannette! Didn't you read my follow-up comment when you asked me on MY blog what "sko" means?? Apparently not. It's a shortened cheerleader version of "Let's go!" which they like to say over and over again. For example, I went to Mt. Tabor high school, and they said, "Sko, Tabor, sko!!" See what you missed out on by not going to a public school? =)
My friends from home and I, since we were all in the band and were repeatedly subjected to cheerleaders, took "sko" over as a congratulatory statement or an expression of excitement.

Ooooh....Sorry, I must've missed your comment. I guess I thought your comments weren't working properly, so I didn't check anymore, but I guess they are. :)
How much fun.
If you were Swiss, you could just say "congratulations." :)

It's a great thing I'm not Swiss, isn't it? I'm already a lot like him with all the details stuff... it'd be scary to see what I'd be like if I were of the same nationality! Anyway, now you and all your readers have just added a new word to your vocabularies. Sko! =)

To Dozza, a very small town that doesn't even have a train station. It's near Bologna. To this seminar on Guillaume de Machaut and the 14th c. Woohoo!
