my little friends

Last night Chris and I went over to babysit our pastor's kids. The three little girls have been some of my best friends here in NOLA. When I arrived at the door last night, they could barely constrain themselves as they bestowed on me gifts of their creations...pictures of many layers of markers and a decorated milk jug (?). Their parents are from the UK, thus the funny accents the kids have developed keep us entertained for hours. Often on Sunday evenings we pizzer with them. Chara Grace, the oldest, especially likes Holives. She also enjoyed tortillers on my birthday. What can I say? They're my pals.

Something occurred to me about the accents your little friends have developed: what do they call soda? Do they say "soder," or do they have some other British name for fizzy drinks? Just curious.

They say "soder". And "towrk" for "talk". The list goes on.
