Phew! The phone line is finally fixed. The problem was actually a wiring problem, wh. doesn't suprise me a bit in this screwy house. Not much to say. Just hot, hot, hot.

It's horrible here, I can't even imagine what it's like down there. One of these days you should swing by Walker Percy's house, take a B&W pic of it for me.

There's a book store on Maple Street that has all sorts of photos of WP dropping by. Percy actually lived across the lake. Wouldn't mind popping by it, though...if it's visitable.
I heard heat index was around 110 today here in the city. ugh.
