I do remember, though, that it was about Terry Gillams's Time Bandits and The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, which I found to be really cool, but really wacky movies.

Those really are a couple of fun films that I've loved since I was small. If you're into the work of Gilliam, you might also want to check out his film Brazil.

I remember seeing Time Bandits when I was really young and being really freaked out by it.

Brazil is freaking amazing. And the screenplay was co-written by Tom Stoppard.

I love his storytelling style and the visual feel of his movies. There's something about each of his movies that is uniquely Gilliamesque, more so than any other director out there, except maybe Tim Burton. If you want to try some of his more adult fare, "12 Monkeys" and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" are worth a shot.

I saw 12 Monkeys when I was younger and was totally freaked out by it. Don't know if I could watch it again. Yea...I think it's the storytelling style that I like...fairytale-esque in a really funny way.
