good music
It arrived in my mailbox today and it is good. Very different from the other Indelible Grace albums--but a good different! I love the work this group does. Sweet sounds for the soul!

birthdays
Today is Sarah Ginny's birthday. She is now 26. It's a strange thing when your baby sister is 26. Wow! I think this picture is from her 3rd birthday. So that would make it 23 years ago. Ah it's good to have sisters. This has been a big year for Sarah Ginny. Not only did she turn 26 but she also became a mom to a super sweet baby girl.
I am thankful for my sisters and for the friendship we share. We are all very different but deep down we share a connection that only sisters can share. I count it an honor to have sisters who I also call my friends. Here's to growing old together. Some of us faster than others!

around the web
So it's no secret that I love to know things. Probably one of the reasons I became a librarian is because I get to learn new things every day.
I've recently started using Igoogle and I like it a lot. Especially because I've finally started using Google Reader and I find that it keeps me from getting lost wandering around the web. All that to say one of the widgets I added was the WikiHow Online manual on how to do just about anything you can think of boil eggs, poach eggs, make a paper box and today how to get rid of the mildew smell from towels. And oddly every entry I've found to be just as interesting as the last. You should take a look!

seriously cute
I was in Florida 2 weeks ago and it was lovely. What a joy to hang out and watch my little sister be a Mommy to little Genevieve. It was a low key weekend and it was so fun to spend time with my new niece. Genabean is a sweet baby girl and a gift to our family. I am really looking forward to Christmas when all of us can be together in Ohio. Who knows maybe G will get to have a White Christmas (just so long as it's not like last time when we had over 20inches of snow with 17 people in the house). It is a great memory but well it'd be nice if it was a bit more lowkey.

Happy Birthday Sister!
Today my sister Alicia (Alli to some) turns 31 years old. Wow I have a sister in her 30s. That feel so grown up. I found this picture in a Flickr stash. It's a scan of an old album. It's so fun to see and remember growing up. We've had our moments I would say, but our Moma's wish was that we'd be friends as adults. I must say that I continue to enjoy getting to know my sister's and celebrating the women they are and are becoming. And today I celebrate my sister's birthday.
She's off in Vegas with all her blogging buddies. It's fun to see the pictures from her trip and I know she's having a blast.
Happy Happy Birthday to the best Big Sister a middle sister could ask for!
love & hugs.

this makes me laugh and love being an aunt
So it's no secret that I LOVE being an Aunt. My sister put this up on her blog not too long ago. And seriously I could watch it over and over again. I love Fuller he is so freaking awesome. I especially love the end where he turns shy. So cute!
