Over the Rhine is going to be in Athens on Thursday and I am going to see them in concert! Yeah. I'm so very excited. I've asked a number of folks but no one has been able to go. Until yesterday, I asked a fellow Covenant Alum (I think she is in my sister Alicia's class) to go with me and she graciously agreed! We actually go to the same church in Watkinsville, but we go to different services. It will be good to go hear OTR, it will certainly make me long for Ohio. But it is fulfilling a new requirement I have for myself--I must now be social during the week at least once and not just on the weekends. Last week I fulfilled the requirement by having dinner with my cousins, at a super yummy Latin American place, where you eat on tables in front of the restaurant in sand. Now I need to start thinking about next week.
