Today as I headed up the stairs to my weekly Weight Watchers meeting I noticed something rather disturbing in the Macy's department store. Christmas trees! And not just Christmas trees waiting for decoration. They were fully decorated, as if Christmas were coming soon. Ahh! It's only week 6 of the semester and there are already Christmas trees in the department store. What is the world coming to? It makes me not want to buy Christmas presents. Maybe I'll make mine this year. Maybe instead of Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays we should just call it Happy Cosumer Days or Merry Consumption!
