Ah the joys of living in Ohio. The weather is so strange. Today we have cold and snow. It's actully a wintery mix of rain and snow. But please its April 23. It should at least be 50 and light rain. But NO SNOW. I'm not sure I can take this cold climate much longer. My next place of residency will have to be in a warmer climate.
Thankfully we had our Spring Retreat last week when we had clear blue skies, sunny and 60+.
Yesterday I played my first round of golf. It was the first time I ever stepped foot on a course. The school I work at is trying to expand their intramurals program and during the spring you can play 9 holes of golf at a course not too far from here. So I headed out in the rain with a group of students (4 to be exact). And 3 hours later I successfully completed my first game of golf. And this morning I woke up feeling very sore. Who knew that golf was such hard work. I have new admiration for golfers.
I must say that I really enjoyed the game. I didn't do well score wise, I actually don't even know my score. I wouldn't let them record it. But C was a great teacher. The course certainly has more holes because of me. But I did actually get the ball into the air a few times and on a few strokes the ball made some distance. It is much harder than it looks! I think I'll go again when my scedule permits.
